2003-04-15 ~ 10:29 p.m. ~ Tired but good

I had an interesting afternoon today since I took half a day off to learn to make a log cabin quilt. It's more difficult than I thought. Not only you had to do rotary cutting, sewing, you also need to know how to "square" things off. I think it was the machine that I wasn't used to, I didn't get the size that we were suppose to make, and I'm suppose to try making a block at home and see what measurements I get at home. I have to make 48 blocks, and I've spent more than 2 hours today to make 2 blocks. Everyone was remarking how sweet my block looks. I think it looks sweet too ;)

Before I left for the afternoon, I helped one of my email friends, Karate Kid to choose some baby names. He was going to name his son as Logan and needed a middle name. I told him I like Logan Connor, and a few others. He said he liked Connor and would probably take it. It was just one of those names that came into mind without much effort. And it sounds classy.

I am helping Adrian to analyse his problem with C. I read some really cute funny things and I want to email him tomorrow on my thoughts. I think it always did help that we were always a shoulder to lean on, whenver we had problems with regards to relationships. He was a male friend whom I seek advise on guys' matters and for him to sound me out for girlie' stuff.
