2003-05-01 ~ 8:50 p.m. ~ May Day
Today, I treated my mom and brother to some sushi lunch. Just before we went out, my brother said that his gf was joining us and he told her to pay for herself. It made me look like a miser. I didn't say much, but I was prepared to pay when the bill came to our table. So we took a cab to town, and on our journey, my brother was pissed off and started venting about his gf. She was going to be late, and still taking her own sweet time. Yet, she wanted to be accomodating and kept saying OK. Anyway, I just listened. My mom was probably the better one who told him to tell her to take her own sweet time. We reached and mom and I went to the restaurant first. Later my brother came, and we ate. We ate and ate and she was still not here, so we decided not to wait for her anymore and I foot the bill. We headed to the supermarket to buy our groceries, his gf has reached. Nothing much, we just bought our stuff and mom and I went back home first since the 2 of them are watching a movie. It rained just as we reached home. The perfect time to take a nap. I slept for 2 hours, and some dinner and packed my room. I bought some cute Japanese flower print storage boxes yesterday at Watsons and it was so cheap. I had thought about it for a day before making the purchase, as I wanted to be sure of how I wanted some things to pack. I'm so glad I cleared 2 bags of things, and they are stored nicely. I have another box left and have yet to decide what I want to do with it. I'll think some more.Tomorrow I'm going to wash some of the UFOs and decide if it's still stitchable. I'm going to make some lunch for myself and laze at home!!
