Wow, it has been quite a while since I last updated. Much has happened. I get more work these days. Just last week, I spent half the week working on puzzles for our Harmony in Diversity programme that is going to be launched this week. We are bringing groups of hot-blooded police recruits (for a start) to places of worships. My boss likes using the word hot-blooded that makes a couple of the girls in my team a little more excited than usual. One of them is married. I’m not really routed in to help out with the tour leading because my boss knows I’m not exactly the extroverted kind of person, and I’m not in the least upset. She did asked if I wanted to be stretched a little, and I said yes. So she’ll put me in one of the buses, packed with 40 recruits, and don’t worry, I’ll have a male colleague to accompany me.

I also have a major project next month, where I’ll be attached to one of the departments to accompany the chinese delegates to government agencies around in Singapore. That would take about 2 weeks, and I said yes to the project because I think it will be a good learning experience for me nonetheless. I’m quite surprised I actually said yes so easily, but for now, I think more diversified exposure would only be good for my resume. It can’t be bad. I want and am working to internationalize my resume, since I know I can never work on the technicalities of my past niche. It’s a small step, but I’m just happy I’m moving forward. My boss says she wants me to be involved in another China project at the end of the world, that will be a conference jointly organized by another expertise company dealing with china relations, and I bet that will be cool too if everything works out great. It will be like another national achievers congress, only this time round, it involves matters in businesses in china.

I have a date tonight! Haha! I’m surprised myself. I should write more about it after tonight.
