2003-09-16 ~ 12:31 a.m. ~ Jazz concerts are not meant to be watched alone
I just came back from concert and it was so good. I didn’t expect Michael to be so hilarious and he made us all laugh, together with his band. They seem to be a fun bunch of guys too, and often joined in mike to make us all laugh in between songs as well as during some songs. They did backup singing, rap, basically fool around to entertain us. It is so unlike the kind of concert I have been to. But one thing though, jazz concerts are not quite meant to be watched alone. I’ve been to pop concerts, but it is something I felt oddly strange this time round. It is probably my only regret that I do not have someone special to share this moment with, but other than that, I had a grand time listening to a wonderful jazz concert. Just someday, I told myself. The girl sitting beside me was crying, I think she was a little overwhelmed. This is a kind of concerts meant for lovers, I think because everyone came out happy and looking like they are so in love. It is strange. Perhaps just my observation.
