2004-01-29 ~ 10:14 a.m. ~ Farewell Lunch
The girls and I went out last night. Yesterday was also Ren Ri, which means everybody's birthday. We had dinner and dessert. I was so full, but satisfied. Cheryl came back for a short visit before going off to study again. We have not had such gathering for quite a while. It is good to just talk, chill and laugh over some of our silly jokes. It is a quite moment now as most of them has went off for one of those monthly talks. I hate those and since I have clocked up enough training hours, I don't see why I have to attend. Did I ever mention before that working alone while the whole office is quiet is an absolute blessing? There is such a calm sense of peacefulness. I worked a bit on the new publicity brochure I'm supposed to come up with for the new one time visual mapping course. I need to get it done urgently as I have a 13 week dateline to meet. I drafted out a bit on how I wanted it to look like, collect the gif. And jpeg. files and I'll ask the artist to help me with the layout later on. I hope to get it out by next week. It will be interesting. I think I'm gonna sit in as I think I would learn a lot from it. It looks so good. We have a farewell lunch today supposedly for our team members. Our team will be "dis-banded" and members will all be going to separate new teams. I will miss this one, or more so my buddy. We work so well together. I hate to think who will be my next buddy. Sometimes it depends a lot if you have a good buddy to cover when you're not around. We will also have our last meeting. Oh so sad.
